Nextdle is a curated directory of daily games — the one-puzzle-a-day format that spread through group chats after Wordle. Every game listed here is free to play and works without creating an account. If a game asks you to sign up before you can play, it does not belong here.
The directory currently tracks 565 games across 15 categories, from words and geography to music, film, logic and trivia. Nothing is generated: a person decides what goes in and what comes out.
Games arrive two ways. Players send them through the suggestion page, or we find them ourselves. Either way a game is played before it goes live.
Three rules decide. It has to be free. It has to work without an account. And it has to offer a genuinely new challenge each day, rather than a puzzle bank on a timer. A game that stops meeting those rules is removed, and a game whose quality drops comes off the list too.
A game marked Game of the Day is one we enjoyed enough to put in front of everyone that day. It is an editorial pick, not a ranking position.
Some games carry a Sponsored tag. Their creator paid to appear at the top of a listing. Sponsorship buys placement and nothing else: a sponsored game goes through the same checks as every other, and a sponsored game that fails them is not listed.
Nextdle is built and run by the game studio Anthm
We make daily games ourselves, which means we list games we built alongside games built by other people. You can reach us on X at @JlnAncl
That is worth saying plainly rather than burying. Our own games get no ranking advantage for being ours, and they are held to the same three rules as everything else. When one of them appears in a listing, it is because it belongs there on the same terms as its neighbours. If you ever think otherwise, tell us — that judgement is the only thing this directory is worth.
Corrections, removals, sponsorship or press: hello@nextdle.com. To put a game forward, use the suggestion page.
