What is TerraeQuest?
A daily geography game built on statistics instead of maps. A question names an indicator, six countries appear as flag cards, and you pick the one that tops it. The daily rotates what it wants from you: the highest value, the lowest value, or the exact value.
How to play
- Open the daily puzzle from the home screen.
- Read the indicator and its definition under the question, then choose one of the six country cards.
- Each selected card reveals its exact value. Keep testing the options until you select the country that meets the requested maximum, minimum or exact-value target.
- Read the result panel, then use Next challenge to continue the daily sequence.
Why play TerraeQuest?
This is the geography game for people who like tables. The daily asks you to rank countries on a real indicator, with the unit and the issuing body printed under the question, so a good answer comes from knowing how a statistic behaves rather than from recognising an outline. Flag cards keep the round quick, and Weekly Survival turns the same knowledge into something with stakes: ten lives, one attempt, no retry until Wednesday. Leaderboard and Leagues sit in the header if you want the standings version of it.
Reading the feedback
Every selected flag card reveals its exact value. An incorrect first pick briefly triggered a red error state while leaving the other countries available; choosing the correct card then revealed all six values and opened a results panel. That panel named the answer, showed a performance message, level/XP, stars, total points and a comparison with other players, and linked to Wikipedia and Google Maps. A “Next challenge” card immediately offered the next target.
Modes
- Daily puzzle
- The daily sequence presents country-comparison questions asking for the highest value, lowest value or an exact value. Each question uses six flag cards and the game leads to a next challenge after the result.
- Weekly Survival
- One attempt per week, resetting every Wednesday. You start with ten lives and every mistake or timeout costs one.
Tips & strategy
- Read the small print before you look at the flags. Per capita against absolute totals flips half of these questions, and the unit is printed in italics directly under the question.
- Do not open Weekly Survival in a queue. It gives you one attempt until the Wednesday reset, and a timeout costs a life exactly like a wrong answer does.
Popular questions
Can I replay Weekly Survival if I lose it early?
