Lyricle

Lyricle deals a song's lyrics one line at a time and asks for the title in six tries. The puzzle opens on a single line, with six progress boxes above a search bar that autocompletes artists and songs. Each guess or skip reveals the next line; find it and the full stanza unfolds. Typing country roads surfaces the full John Denver: Take Me Home, Country Roads entry in the suggestions, and submitting it on the first line wins at once, revealing all six lines of the opening verse.

1. Read the first lyric line. That is your only clue at the start.
2. Type into the search bar; it autocompletes both artists and song titles from partial words.
3. Submit a guess or press SKIP. Either way the next line is revealed, up to six.
4. Use Hint if the song refuses to come, then share the result and wait out the countdown, or switch to Unlimited Mode.

Because it flips the music-guessing genre from ears to memory: no audio plays, so it works in an open office, on mute, anywhere a Heardle-like cannot. The one-line-at-a-time reveal gives it a real difficulty curve, an iconic opener like Almost Heaven ends games instantly, while a deep cut makes you spend skips to reach the chorus. A Hint button softens hard days, stats track your guess distribution and streak, and when the daily is done, a separate Unlimited Mode keeps dealing.

The six boxes above the search bar are the scoreboard: one per attempt, colored by outcome, clickable to review previous guesses. A win reveals the complete lyric block and opens the stats panel (games played, win rate, streak, guess distribution across the six tries), with a Share button and a countdown to the next puzzle.

Unlimited Mode

An endless variant on its own subdomain, linked under the daily board.

Genres

A try-genres link offered after the win for themed variants.

• First lines are the whole game: the opening words of famous songs are often their least famous part, so read for place names and images rather than choruses.
• A skip is information at zero risk of a wrong-guess slot when you are blank, but remember it spends one of the six boxes all the same.
• Type fragments, not titles: the autocomplete matches country roads to the full John Denver entry mid-phrase.
