Brandle

A blurred logo in the center of an almost empty page, a "Type a brand name..." field below it, and a row of eight dots that represent the available tries. The game description announces hints that reveal the sector, the country and the year the brand was founded. The game is served from capitalle.app: the address brandle.capitalle.app redirects to capitalle.app/brandle and the page title includes " | Capitalle".

1. Look at the blurred logo, dated in the page header.
2. Type a brand name into the field, then submit: an arrow is placed at the end of the field.
3. Follow the two counters: the 'x left' in the header and the row of dots under the logo.

A blurred logo reduces a brand to its most recognizable features, its shape and its colors. Brandle plays exactly on that, and its eight tries leave room for a real investigation. You mostly discover how many brands you recognize from a blotch of color.

A dot per try under the logo, a remaining-tries counter in the page header, and, according to the game description, hints that reveal the sector, the country and the year of foundation. The recording did not capture any of those hints on screen, only the initial state: blurred logo and eight intact dots.
