What is Sound?
Sound is a pitch-memory test that plays a set of tones (five by default) and asks you to recreate each tone. The interface supports solo and multiplayer play, shows a numeric score (examples show values like “0.00 / 50”), and offers daily and live options with configurable difficulty and round counts.
How to play
- Turn on your sound and ringer and put on headphones as instructed on the page.
- Listen while the game plays the sequence of tones (the site states five tones are played).
- Attempt to recreate each tone when prompted.
- Submit your attempts to receive a score; the interface displays a numeric result (e.g. "0.00 / 50").
- Optionally create or copy a multiplayer or live link to challenge friends, or play the daily challenge.
Why play Sound?
Sound tests pitch memory and ear accuracy by having you recreate played tones. It’s useful for measuring how well you recall pitches, comparing scores with friends in multiplayer or live matches, and attempting the single-shot daily challenge that uses the same tones for everyone.
Reading the feedback
The game provides immediate numeric scoring. Examples on the page show results formatted like "0.00 / 50". For daily play the site explicitly notes "You get one shot" and returns messages such as "That was your second try. Come back tomorrow." Live and multiplayer sessions display live results and determine winners by closest match.
Modes
- Core play (solo)
- The solo format plays a sequence of tones (five by default) and asks the player to recreate each one, then returns a numeric score (out of 50 as shown). This is the basic single-player experience referenced on the page.
- Multiplayer
- Create and copy a game link to invite friends. The page notes "Same five tones, closest match wins." A live-host option is available where everyone matches with a shared timer; results are shown live.
- Daily
- A daily challenge uses the same five tones for everyone on the same day. The interface shows time left for the daily and explicitly states players get one attempt for the daily (example messaging: "You get one shot." and retry messages).
Tips & strategy
- Turn on your sound and ringer and use headphones, as the site instructs.
- Choose difficulty (Easy or Hard) and rounds (1, 3, 5, or custom) before starting to match the experience you want.
- For the daily challenge, note you only have one attempt that day; the site will block additional tries ("come back tomorrow").
