Clueless

Clueless is a semantic word-distance puzzle. You type words to approach an unknown target, then use a numerical distance and a colored progress bar to decide whether the next word should be closer in meaning. The target word itself is marked with a trophy when found.

1. Type a word into the guess field.
2. Read the number that reports how far the guess is from the secret word.
3. Use the distance and progress bar to choose a semantically closer word.
4. Continue refining guesses until the target word is reached.

Choose Clueless if you enjoy discovering a hidden word through meaning rather than spelling patterns. The visible distance makes every attempt informative and rewards structured semantic exploration.

Each submitted word receives a numerical distance from the secret word and a colored progress bar. In the game’s How to Play demo, smaller numbers have longer green bars, while more distant words have progressively shorter orange and red bars; the exact answer is marked with a trophy.

Standard word-distance puzzle

The available game asks players to repeatedly type words and follow semantic-distance feedback toward one secret word.

• Use the smallest numerical distance as the strongest signal; it means the word is closer to the secret target.
• Change one semantic dimension at a time (such as category, use or association), so the next distance teaches you something specific.
• Treat a large distance as a cue to move to a different concept family rather than making a tiny wording change.
