Glyph

The word of the day is not hidden behind empty tiles; it is shown in full. However its letters are stacked vertically, one on top of the other, the first letter at the top. You study this arrangement, submit a word, and the screen puts two frames facing each other, the day's glyph and yours.

1. Follow the introductory tutorial, in three screens, which sets the only convention to know: a glyph is a word whose letters are stacked vertically, the first at the top.
2. Study the day's glyph, then type a word into the input field and press Decode.

It's a word puzzle that depends not on vocabulary but on the eye. The form is there, complete, right in front of you, and the exercise consists of undoing a typographic stack.

Three counters frame the game: the number of decode attempts, the letters decoded and the letters found, which suggests feedback letter by letter rather than an all-or-nothing verdict. There are also two help screens, a glyph alphabet and an optional decoding key.

Core play

The game presents a single default puzzle played in the browser: the day’s glyph is shown in full with its letters stacked vertically (first letter at the top). You study that Daily Glyph, type a word into the input field and press Decode, and the screen places two frames facing each other (the day’s glyph and your glyph). Play is framed by three counters (decode attempts, letters decoded, letters found). Introductory tutorial screens, a glyph alphabet and an optional decoding key serve as helpers.

• The tutorial can be skipped with a button, but it lasts three screens and gives the only reading rule that matters: the vertical order of the letters with the first at the top.
