HAGL

HAGL is PZLR’s daily substitution puzzle. A random number stands for every letter of the alphabet, and you must reconstruct thirteen encoded entries belonging to a named category. The category title gives thematic context while repeated patterns help reveal the number-to-letter mapping.

1. Read the category and the thirteen encoded items.
2. Match a letter tile to a number by clicking, tapping, dragging or typing.
3. Use repeated patterns and distinctive spellings to extend the substitution map.
4. Use a Hint only when needed, then complete the list and review it.

Choose HAGL if you enjoy substitution ciphers but want a thematic entry point. Its list format rewards pattern recognition, category knowledge and careful reuse of every decoded letter.

The game’s feedback is the evolving decoded list: every successful number-to-letter mapping clarifies the thirteen category entries. The Hint button can reveal one or more letters when stuck, and Review displays the deciphered list from the completed game.
