Pixletters

Pixletters is a web-based word-guessing puzzle where you must identify a hidden five-letter word within five attempts. Instead of letter-color feedback, each submitted guess returns a small pixel grid: blue pixels mark letters correct in that position, green/red pixels encode presence or forbidden presence of particular pixels in that letter, and gray pixels indicate unknowns. Daily puzzles and basic statistics are shown on the interface.

1. Type a valid 5-letter word and submit it (your goal is to guess the word in 5 tries).
2. Observe the pixel result for each letter: blue, green, red, or gray pixels will be shown.
3. Interpret the pixel colors using the legend (blue = correct in that spot; green = must contain this pixel; red = must not contain this pixel; gray = unknown).
4. Use the accumulating pixel information across guesses to eliminate or confirm candidate letters.
5. Use the Retry or Next Word controls to play again or move on when allowed.

Pixletters challenges you to deduce a five-letter word using compact pixel clues rather than conventional letter hints. The pixel legend forces a different kind of logical elimination and pattern recognition, with daily words and tracked statistics (wins, streaks, guess distribution) to measure progress.

After each guess the game displays a pixel-based result per letter. Blue pixels indicate a letter is correct in that position. Green pixels mean the letter must contain the indicated pixel; red pixels mean the letter must not contain that pixel. Gray pixels mean that pixel is currently unknown. The interface also shows basic statistics (Played, Win, Current streak, Best streak) and guess distribution.

Core play

Standard mode as described on the page: submit 5-letter guesses and receive per-letter pixel feedback where multiple rows of pixels are colored over successive guesses.

PLUS mode

Pixels are colored in rows or columns according to arrows; with every entered word more rows or columns will be colored.

PRO mode

Only one row or one column will be colored per guess (PRO mode limits feedback to a single row or column).

• Use the pixel legend exactly: blue = correct letter in that spot; green = that letter must contain the indicated pixel; red = that letter must not contain the indicated pixel; gray = unknown.
• If feedback shows a letter MUST have a specific pixel, eliminate candidate letters that do not contain that pixel.
• If feedback shows a letter MUST NOT have certain pixels (for example corners), eliminate any candidate letters that contain those pixels.
