Geo Grid

GeoGrid is a daily 3×3 geography grid game where each row and column is a category. For each cell you must name a place (country or U.S. state depending on mode) that fits both the row and column. There is also an Unlimited toggle for randomly generated practice grids.

1. Open the site and choose a mode: World (countries) or US States; toggle Unlimited for random grids.
2. Click a cell to answer the intersection of its row and column categories.
3. Enter a place name for that cell; wrong guesses consume one of your 9 guesses and valid answers affect your score.

Play GeoGrid to test and expand geographic knowledge through short daily puzzles or extended practice. The game challenges players to match places to intersect categories and rewards thinking about common versus obscure answers, with an Unlimited mode for extra practice.

The game shows immediate game-state feedback: wrong guesses use up a guess and are shown as a red dot. The interface displays how many valid answers exist for a clue and your current score. Unfilled cells count as 100 points each, and the score reflects answer popularity among players.

• Choose commonly named places when you want a better (lower) score, since scoring is based on answer popularity.
• Avoid leaving cells blank. Unfilled cells automatically count as 100 points each.
• Use Unlimited mode to practice patterns and categories without waiting for the next daily puzzle.
