OpenGuessr calls itself a free GeoGuessr alternative in its own page title, and delivers exactly that shape: a full-screen street panorama, a Map button that unfolds the world, and a Guess button that locks your pin. Singleplayer World is the default mode, a tutorial waits for newcomers, and ads foot the bill. Ads keep OpenGuessr free, as the banner puts it.

1. Open openguessr.com, the panorama loads directly, Singleplayer World by default.
2. Look around for clues; the Menu holds other options and the tutorial if the interface is new.
3. Press Map, drop your pin on the world map, then hit Guess.
4. Read the distance and the verdict, then Continue to the next drop, there is no round cap.

It is the lowest-friction door into the street-view genre: no account to play, one click from landing page to panorama, and the map tucked away until you ask for it, which leaves the whole screen to the exploration. The playful verdicts (a 3,527 km miss earns a shrug rather than a lecture), set a lighter tone than the competitive platforms. Sign-in exists, but the game states its only stake plainly: sign up to see and save your score.

The reveal draws your pin against the true location on a map, states the distance in kilometres and stamps a one-line verdict on the attempt. Score persistence is the account's job, not the game's: the result screen offers Sign up to see & save your score, then a Continue button rolls you into the next location.
