It is a short daily puzzle for players who want a clearly defined problem before work or between tasks.

The LinkedIn result card reports solve time and the first three grid colours in which a crown was correctly placed. It can display “Perfect” when the solve used no hints or reveals and auto-placement was off. LinkedIn notes that scores can vary slightly by device type.

Daily game

LinkedIn presents its Games hub as a collection of daily thinking games.

• Start with regions that have the fewest legal crown positions, then use row and column constraints to remove possibilities elsewhere.
• After a certain placement, scan both its row and column before placing another crown; this prevents a locally valid move from blocking the grid.
• Avoid hints, reveals and auto-placement if you are aiming for the game’s Perfect result card.
