Sortl

Sortl transposes liquid-sorting into a daily format: a row of test tubes filled with colored layers, and a single objective, to get monochrome tubes. The puzzle is numbered, released at midnight UTC and identical for all players. The distinctive feature is the par: each grid states the minimal number of moves that solves it, and your move counter is displayed beside it throughout the game.

1. Click a source tube to pick up its top layer.
2. Click a destination tube to pour that layer into it.
3. Respect the two pouring rules: only onto a layer of the same color, or into a completely empty tube.
4. Finish the sort in as few moves as possible, since your score is measured against the day's par.

Because Sortl replaces the “solved / not solved” dichotomy with a hunt for par: the real question is how many moves you'll have wasted. And since there's only one attempt per day, you think before you pour.

The board header permanently shows “X moves · par N”: your move count versus the day's theoretical minimum. The final verdict is a label, not a numeric grade. FLAWLESS SORT if you are at par or below, CLEAN SORT at +1 to +3, DECENT SORT at +4 to +8, MESSY SORT at +9 and beyond, UNSORTED if you remain stuck. Two buttons appear in the interface, labelled “↩ FREE” and “↺ RESTART”.

Overflow et Blind Stack

A banner reading “New modes unlocked” names them under the game's bar.

• An empty tube accepts any color: the help panel explicitly invites you to use it as a buffer rather than as permanent storage.
• Multiple identical layers stacked at the top move together in a single move. Revealing a series before moving it directly saves points against the par.
• Only the top layer is mobile: what is buried does not count yet, so plan around what is exposed now.
