Mathdle

Mathdle is a daily target-number game. It presents six smaller numbers and a target, then asks you to combine the available numbers with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The active site lists daily difficulty and keeps separate playing and winning streaks.

1. Read the target number and the six available numbers.
2. Select a number, an operation and another number to make an intermediate calculation.
3. Use the running result with the remaining numbers and operations to approach the target.
4. Check the History panel as each completed calculation is recorded.

Choose Mathdle if you enjoy arithmetic planning more than equation guessing. Its visible calculation history and reversible intermediate steps support deliberate experimentation while keeping the daily target focused.

Each completed calculation is logged immediately in History as a full expression and result. The two operands are then replaced by the calculated result, and an undo control is available. The board also shows elapsed time, daily difficulty, Hint and Give up controls.

The active site presents a numbered daily target-number puzzle with a displayed difficulty level.

• Use the History panel to keep track of intermediate values instead of recomputing them mentally.
• Reserve the operation that can make the largest correction until you know whether your target requires growth or reduction.
• Use undo after testing an unhelpful intermediate result rather than carrying it through the rest of the calculation.
