Perimetle

Perimetle is the outline comparison game on GuessDash. Two filled silhouettes sit side by side on a dotted board, one purple, one gold, and the only question asked is which of them has the longer outline. The opening card names the trap in a sentence, focus on the full outside edge, and one round pairs a motorcycle with a long tailed four legged animal, two shapes with nothing in common except that both have a perimeter. A pill in the corner reads ROUND 1 / 7, with a row of seven pips above the board tracking the run.

1. Read the tutorial card that opens with the game. It states the mechanic in four words, pick the longer outline, and tells you to judge the full outside edge rather than the bulk.
2. Click one of the two silhouettes.
3. Watch the reveal, then take the next round. The pill reads ROUND 1 / 7 and the seven pips above the board fill as you go.

Perimetle is a pure eyeball test with one deliberately cruel twist: it asks about the outline, not the shape. Your instinct measures bulk, and one round sets a big smooth object against a small spiky one, which punishes precisely that reflex. Seven rounds, one click each, and the outlines trace themselves afterwards so you get to watch how badly you misread the edge.

The tutorial card promises the reveal is drawn rather than announced: the outlines trace themselves after your choice, so you watch the two perimeters being run off against each other instead of just reading a verdict. The run state you can see is the pip row across the top and the ROUND x / 7 pill beside it.

Daily run

The run is filed per day. The browser keeps a guessdash daily result entry against a run id while the seven rounds are unfinished.

• Area is the decoy. A bulky silhouette can be almost smooth all the way round, while a smaller one spends its entire outline on legs, a tail and a ragged back.
• Anything jagged is worth more than it looks, so comparing overall size is the fastest way to get a round wrong.
