What is MCdle?
MCdle is a daily Minecraft guessing game that runs separate gamemodes side by side: one mob, one block and one item, plus a recipe puzzle called Crafting Bee. Guesses are unlimited by default, so a round is an elimination exercise rather than a survival one.
How to play
- Pick a gamemode from the home page: Mobs, Blocks, Items or Crafting Bee. Each holds its own daily answer.
- Guess the day's mob, block or item. Attempts are unlimited unless you switch the limited-attempts setting on.
Why play MCdle?
Unlimited guesses set the shape of it. Casual players are not shut out, since you can brute-force with the wiki open in another tab, but anyone expecting a tight Wordle-sized ritual will find the opposite: three separate boards a day plus Crafting Bee, and no attempt cap unless you ask for one.
Reading the feedback
Each guess is answered clue by clue against the hidden object, and a colourblind setting sits in the options for players who cannot rely on the colours.
Modes
- Mobs
- Discover today's Minecraft mob.
- Blocks
- Guess today's Minecraft block.
- Items
- Guess the Minecraft item of the day.
- Crafting Bee
- A recipe puzzle rather than a guesser, built on hex tiles and a crafting grid. Optional settings add hints, silhouettes, a timer and auto-craft, and the grid is keyboard-driven.
Tips & strategy
- Each gamemode (Mobs, Blocks, Items, Crafting Bee) has its own daily answer. Treat them as separate puzzles you can play independently.
- Guesses are unlimited by default, so you can brute-force answers (for example with a wiki open) unless you enable the limited-attempts setting.
- If you want a stricter challenge, turn on the limited-attempts option in settings to cap your tries.
- Pay attention to the clue-by-clue feedback after each guess to eliminate possibilities rather than relying solely on intuition.
- Enable the colourblind setting in options if you cannot rely on colour cues from the feedback.
- For Crafting Bee, use the keyboard-driven grid for faster input and consider turning on optional hints, silhouettes, timer or auto-craft to tailor the puzzle to your preferred difficulty and pace.
