OverwatchDLE

OverwatchDLE is not one game but four, dropped together at midnight and laid side by side on the same page: HEROES asks you to guess the hero from their attributes, MAPS has you identify a map from an image that slowly zooms out, SILHOUETTE asks you to identify a blurred silhouette, and ABILITIES has you name the hero from their ability icons alone. The site shows the same answers to everyone. Around those four tiles, the page stacks a GROUPS panel to compare your daily scores with friends, PRIVATE MATCHES on the same puzzles, a CODEX of all heroes and maps, a rules page, an FAQ and a backup button for saving data. A row of footer buttons, ENGLISH, IMMERSIVE, CLASSIC, TALON, accompanies an appearance setting preserved by the browser.

1. Choose one of the four tiles on the homepage: HEROES, MAPS, SILHOUETTE or ABILITIES, each labeled TO PLAY.
2. Solve the day's puzzle in the chosen mode: a win in any one of the four is enough to keep your streak alive.
3. Open the streak panel to see your rank, from Bronze to Top 500, and check whether you have a freeze available.
4. If you fail, wait until the next morning: the four answers from the previous day are published in YESTERDAY'S ANSWERS.

The true design gesture of OverwatchDLE is borrowing Overwatch's rank scale and turning it into an attendance counter. Bronze after one day, Top 500 after five hundred, five divisions per tier, a freeze that absorbs a missed day: the progression speaks exactly the language of the game it references, and the site takes care to state that it's a personal matter, not a player ranking. The quartet of puzzles approaches knowledge from four different angles (attributes, a map that zooms out, a silhouette, ability icons), leaving everyone a mode where they excel and one where they struggle. Groups and private duels complete the offering.

The YOUR STREAK panel shows the count for the day, the best score, the freeze status, and reminds that this is personal progression and not a player leaderboard.

Heroes

"Guess the hero": the hero of the day to identify from their attributes, compared column by column.

Maps

"Guess the map": an image of a map that progressively zooms out until you recognize it.

Silhouette

"Guess the silhouette": a blurred silhouette to identify.

Abilities

"Guess the abilities": name the hero from their ability icons alone.

Past days

Replay a past day without affecting the daily statistics, the page explicitly notes.

Private matches

Face friends on the same puzzles, in addition to groups that compare daily scores.

• The streak does not require all four puzzles: a win in any one mode is enough for the day. On busy days, pick the mode that works best for you.
• A freeze is earned every seven days and absorbs one missed day. Checking its status in the YOUR STREAK panel before heading into the weekend prevents falling back to Bronze.
• Past days can be replayed without affecting statistics: they're a good place to practice the mode that gives you trouble.
