What is Crosswordle?
This Crosswordle asks you to guess two crossing words by making full-word guesses with no definitions. Each attempt must consist of valid words, and the feedback adds a color to the usual code: orange indicates a letter that belongs to the other word at the crossing. The game also specifies that the two answers are related to each other.
How to play
- Enter a guess for both words using the on-screen alphabetical keyboard; press Enter to submit and Erase to correct.
- Read the three colors: green for the correct letter in the correct place, yellow for a correct letter in the wrong place, orange for a letter that is in the other word.
- Count the lit tiles; each colored tile corresponds to one occurrence of the letter in the answer.
- Cross-check with the indication that the two answers are related in meaning, then try another guess.
Why play Crosswordle?
The third color changes everything: instead of reasoning about a single word, you reason about a pair, and a letter moved away from one side becomes a clue for the other. Add that the two answers are linked by meaning and the game starts to resemble a two-layer riddle, where vocabulary matters less than careful reading of the colors.
Reading the feedback
Three colors, including the orange unique to the game, and an explicit rule about duplicates: if the answer contains only one S, only one S in the guess lights up. The help panel even lays out example deductions to draw from an initial feedback. Two end screens are provided, Victory and Better luck next time.

Tips & strategy
- Orange is the real novelty of the game: it indicates a letter is on the correct side of the crossing but in the other word, so it needs to be moved to the other word, not just repositioned.
- The two answers are connected by meaning: the first one found serves as a definition for the second.
- The number of lit tiles for the same letter matters: a single yellow tile on two proposed Ss indicates that only one S exists in the answer.

The help panel does not state any quota: it asks you to find the solution in a minimum of guesses. Both outcomes exist, the Victory screen as well as the Better luck next time screen.
