DABL

DABL is PZLR’s daily score-building word puzzle. You make five five-letter words, each with one required letter already placed, and use the displayed 1 to 5 letter values to chase either a high or a low total. The selected daily mode determines which total counts as a win.

1. Choose High or Low before starting the day’s game.
2. Use the five letter-value groups to decide how expensive or cheap each word should be.
3. Create five five-letter words, each using its given letter.
4. Edit the words until satisfied, then submit the set.

Choose DABL if you like word construction with a numerical trade-off. The same letter values support two opposite goals, so the puzzle can reward either rich high-value words or careful economy.

A valid word immediately receives a score. In High mode, a total of 95 or more wins; in Low mode, a total of 55 or less wins. After submission, Review displays every submitted word and its score, giving the player a direct explanation of the final total.

High

Build five words to reach a total score of at least 95.

Low

Build five words to finish at 55 points or less.

• Choose your mode before beginning: PZLR says there is one game per day and the choice is final for that run.
• For High, look for words that use the letters placed in the highest-value group; for Low, avoid them where possible.
• Use the per-word score feedback to revise a word before the final submission.
