Invertle

Invertle is a five-letter deduction puzzle where you must crack a hidden 5-letter combination in six guesses. Each guess is a full word; after submitting you pick one column to focus on and receive higher/lower feedback for that column while any exact letter matches reveal themselves.

1. Type a 5-letter word and press Enter to submit a guess.
2. Tap one column (a letter position) to focus that column and receive feedback for it.
3. Read the feedback (↑, ↓, or a teal exact-match tile) and use higher/lower hints to narrow letters before your next guess.

Play Invertle if you enjoy logical, position-by-position deduction. The higher/lower feedback forces focused narrowing of possibilities, so players who like binary-search thinking and optimizing guesses to reveal exact letters will find the challenge satisfying.

Feedback appears per column: ↑ means the correct letter is later (higher) in the alphabet, ↓ means the correct letter is earlier (lower), and a teal tile (●) marks an exact match which is revealed. The interface also shows when a particular letter is eliminated for that column.

• Use the focused-column mechanic like a binary search: each higher/lower divide significantly reduces possible letters for that position.
• Try guesses that could produce exact matches to immediately lock letters and narrow the remaining columns.
• When a column shows an up or down arrow, choose subsequent letters that halve the remaining alphabet range for that column.
