Scooch

Scooch is played by pushing letter tiles until the day's words are formed, following the instructions in its tutorial. Its five-screen tutorial opens on a block of ten letters and a single instruction, drag the tiles to form the day's words, and a Words found panel keeps count of what has been found ("Keep scoochin' those tiles!" while it is empty). The home screen lets you choose between the browser and the iOS app.

1. Choose "Play in browser" on the home screen, or use the iOS app offered alongside.
2. Work through the "How to Play" tutorial, paginated over five screens, or close it to get to the grid.
3. Push the letter tiles to form the day's words, each validated word being recorded in the "Words found" panel.

Scooch replaces typing with gesture: you move letters until the day's words appear, and the tutorial sets the tone with its own coined verb.

Progress is tracked via the "Words found" panel, empty at first, and by a move counter that the game keeps as an optional setting.

chill

One of the two daily modes that the game stores in the browser, under that exact name.

challenge

The second daily mode stored, sharing the same day number as the first: the two grids coexist for the same date.

• Choose "Play in browser" on the home screen if you don’t want to install the iOS app.
• Work through the five-screen "How to Play" tutorial to learn the push-to-form-words gesture, or close it to get straight to the grid.
• Watch the "Words found" panel to see which validated words the game has recorded; it starts empty and prompts "Keep scoochin' those tiles!" until you find words.
• Turn on the optional move counter in settings if you want the game to track how many pushes you make.
• Remember the site stores two daily versions named "chill" and "challenge" (same day number), check both if you want to play each variant for that date.
