Tilbo

Tilbo is a daily letter-matching game that turns word building into board clearing. You type words of any length, then look for matching neighbouring letter tiles that light up and tap them away. Clear the whole grid to win; fill it instead and the game ends.

1. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard for the daily letter-matching puzzle.
2. Type a word of any length into the board.
3. Watch for neighbouring matching tiles to light up, then tap those lit tiles to clear them.
4. Keep clearing groups until no tiles remain; if the grid fills, the puzzle ends.
5. Use the menu’s Unlimited or Timed route when you want an alternative to the daily board.

Tilbo feels less like entering answers and more like managing a small chain reaction. You are free to type words of any length, but each choice matters only when it lights up a removable set of neighbours. That makes vocabulary, board reading and timing pull in the same direction: clear enough tiles before the grid overwhelms you.

Tilbo’s feedback is positional and immediate: neighbouring matching tiles light up after a word is entered, marking the tiles that can be tapped to clear. The tutorial defines the two terminal states directly, clearing every tile wins, while filling the grid ends the game. This is a tile-clear signal rather than a Wordle-style letter-position color code.

Unlimited mode

• Think beyond the first valid word: a word of any length is allowed, but its value is in lighting adjacent matching tiles that you can remove.
• Clear a useful lit cluster promptly before it is buried by further board growth.
• Do not import green/yellow/gray expectations from letter grids. Tilbo’s tutorial makes neighbour lighting and tile clearing its central feedback loop.
