Trilogy

Trilogy displays three circles: a word on the left, a question mark in the middle, a word on the right. You must find the central word that attaches to both others to form two compound words or two common phrases. The help gives the example BACK → GROUND → WATER, which makes background and groundwater.

1. Look at the two words in the outer circles and count the dashes shown beneath them: they give the length of the missing word.
2. Type the middle word into the field “TYPE MIDDLE WORD…”
3. Confirm with SUBMIT GUESS, whose label indicates how many attempts remain.
4. Tap a buoy 🛟 if you're stuck: the help says it immediately fills in a random letter of the mystery word.

The format fits on one line, three circles and an arrow, and yet the stepped challenge is real: finding a word that satisfies two neighbors at once forces you to try dozens of expressions per second. The label LEVEL 1: EASY above the first puzzle also signals that the day doesn't end there.

The attempt counter is integrated into the submit button, which counts down the remaining tries. The target word is represented by dashes, one per letter, under the row of circles.

Daily run with levels

The opening puzzle is labeled LEVEL 1: EASY, and the help talks about managing your three buoys “across your entire daily run”: the day therefore strings together several puzzles.

• Count the dashes before spending a buoy: it reveals a random letter, and a known length often guides you more quickly than the letter offered.
• Test the word both ways. It must finish the expression on the left and begin the one on the right, like the GROUND of background and groundwater.
• Keep in mind that the rules accept both compound words and common phrases, not just glued-together words.
