A set of six daily geography puzzles on one site: an attribute table, a flag, a map outline, a grouping puzzle, a freehand drawing and a ten-question quiz. Classic is the anchor: you name any country and the board answers with how that country compares to the hidden one on continent, distance and direction, population and area. A new answer is drawn every day at 00:00 UTC and is the same worldwide, and an Unlimited toggle sits beside the daily one for practice rounds that do not count.

1. Pick a mode from the row of tabs, or stay on Classic, and leave the switch on Daily.
2. Type a country into the search field and submit it.
3. Read the row that appears: clue tiles for continent match, distance and direction, plus population and area.
4. Use those directions to pick your next country. You have six guesses.

GeoDle suits someone who likes reasoning from a table rather than recalling flags: Classic hands you continent, distance and direction, population and area, and the good players triangulate on a bearing instead of guessing neighbours. Budget two or three minutes for a single mode and ten to fifteen if you want to light up every dot in the day's strip. It is a poor fit if you play in bursts and want to catch up later, because missed days are gone: there is no archive, only an Unlimited practice toggle whose rounds keep their own separate board. It also asks more of you than a one-tap daily, and half the appeal - leaderboards, badges, XP levels - only exists once you sign in with Google or Discord, which is optional but leaves the solo player with a plainer game.

Each guess adds a row of tiles: a continent match, a distance, a direction, and comparisons on population and area. A strip under the board carries your streak, the puzzle number, six dots for the day's six modes, and yesterday's answer next to its flag.

• The distance tile gives you a direction, not just a warm-cold reading. Guess one country deep inside a large landmass, note where it points, then guess another far from it: two crossing bearings pin the answer down much faster than trying candidates one at a time.
• Micro-states are in the pool, so do not assume a big country. Vatican City was the answer the day this page was checked, and the area comparison is the tile that catches that case early.
