Daily Draft

Daily Draft replays a fantasy football draft using player seasons drawn at random. Each round lines up twelve cards that show name, team, year and honors (Tom Brady 2011 with his trophies, Christian McCaffrey 2019, Trey McBride 2025), but never the statistics for that season. You take one per round to fill a roster, and the goal is the highest total average points per game. One day's home badges, for example, announced a 2011-2025 pool, PPR scoring, a 25% TE bonus and a lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 SFLX.

1. Read the home badges: they show the pool, the scoring and the day's roster composition, which change from day to day.
2. Start the game with “START TODAY'S DRAFT”.
3. On each round, examine the twelve cards offered: name, team, year, honors, position, and nothing else.
4. Choose a player before the 60 seconds for the round expire; the selected position fills a slot on the roster shown at left.
5. Continue through the rounds: the board displays “Round 1 of 8” and the roster panel lists eight slots (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, SFLX), while the counter next to it reads 0/10.
6. At the end of the draft, reveal the actual statistics for each selected player.

It's the part of fantasy that fans really love, the draft, isolated from the rest: twelve cards, one minute, one pick. By hiding statistics and leaving only team, year and trophies, Daily Draft tests a specific skill. Knowing which season of a player was the right one. And the verdict comes right away, when all the lines are revealed at once.

The game says nothing while you draft: the cards carry no statistics and the help panel specifies that the real numbers are revealed only once the draft is over. During a round, the only feedback is a countdown ring at the top right of the board and the roster slots that change from “Empty” to the chosen player. Cards are color-coded by position, with the position abbreviation repeated on their right spine.

Variable Format

The help panel states that scoring and roster shape change daily and points to the home badges, for example PPR with a 25% bonus for tight ends.

RESTART

A RESTART button accompanies HOME at the bottom of the roster panel during the draft.

• The game withholds statistics but not context: team, year and honors are there for that.
• The help panel gives the key: the relative value of positions matters, as in a real draft. A FLEX or SFLX slot is usually filled late, so don't waste a pick on it when a scarce position is available.
• The day's bonus is not decorative: when the badges announce a boost for a position, that position's card is worth more than its face value.
• One minute per round is not much for twelve cards: first spot the two or three seasons you know are huge, decide, and save the remaining time for the next round.
