Kickoff Trivia

Kickoff Trivia is a football true-or-false quiz played by swiping, card by card, against a twelve-second timer. The home screen highlights a large KICK OFF button for the daily challenge, then displays a grid of themes you can tackle separately: results of the latest matches, player photos, global championships, European nights, clubs, records, transfer market, national teams, stadiums. Each card presents a statement, often shown on a credited photo (Wikimedia Commons, with the license indicated under the image), and you must decide whether it’s true. The top banner shows progress (1 / 10), a countdown ring, the current streak and the score, with ten progress dashes under the theme title. The site describes itself as fan-made and not affiliated with federations, leagues, or organizers.

1. Open 1kick.app: the KICK OFF button launches the daily challenge, or choose a theme from the "OR PICK A THEME" grid.
2. Read the statement on the card, along with its photo and credit.
3. Swipe the card right for true, left for false, or tap ✓ / ✕ under the card.
4. Decide before the twelve seconds run out: the help notes that the game beeps during the last four seconds.
5. Go through the ten cards of the round; the star target is shown above the deck ("Get 7/10 right for ★★").

Football quizzes are usually static multiple-choice tests; Kickoff Trivia turns it into a swipe-card format with a twelve-second clock, which completely changes the nature of the exercise: you’re no longer searching for the correct answer, you decide whether a sentence sounds right. The Live Results theme pushes that logic to the limit by making statements from matches that have just finished, so the game can’t be memorized. And because each card carries its credited photo and its theme, a ten-card round fits into the two minutes the site claims.

Every correct card adds points and extends the streak. A timeout costs one point; after ten cards, the score earns three stars for 9-10 correct, two stars for 7-8 and one star for 5-6.

• Twelve seconds per card, with beeps in the last four: the game is tuned for instinct, and rereading a statement three times costs more than getting it wrong.
• Live Results is the most perishable theme in the grid: its statements are drawn from matches that have just finished, so historical knowledge is useless there and it’s better to play it when you’ve followed the week.
• The star target is shown before the first card: you know from the start which milestone the round is aiming for.
• Each theme shows a level (LV 1) and three stars to fill: the grid reads like a progression list, not a simple menu.
