Guess the Game

Name the video game from a screenshot. You start with one deliberately unhelpful image and every wrong guess buys you another shot that gives away a little more. Six tries total.

1. Type a game title and submit it.
2. A wrong guess reveals the next screenshot, and a Skip button moves you on without an answer.

Most screenshot games reward having played the right things. This one rewards having looked at a lot of games, which is a much wider net, and the opening image is often nearly abstract. It has been running past a thousand consecutive days, so the daily habit is well established. Skip it if your gaming is narrow and modern, because it will show you no mercy for it.

A counter tells you how many guesses are left, and the numbered strip above the image tracks which of the six screenshots you are on.
